Hey there! This section of the site is about me, how I made this site and my time playing Runescape.

Myself
My name is Nicholas or Nick for short. Im a 17 year old student from Norway and live outside of Bergen, one of the most rainy places on the planet. Here I go to school and spend my days. I enjoy listening to music, playing games and the most important thing, making video's. This site is based around the online game "Runescape" but even more sentered around the video's I make and put out on Youtube. Since these consist of mostly Runescape video's, making my site around that felt like the most normal. Music I like really depends on what mood im in. Sometimes im in the mood for harder music with loads of guitar solo's and stuff like that. Other times I feel more relaxed and the music I listen to then is more relaxed aswell. Thats pretty much it about me.

This all started about a year before this site was made. Me and a friend of mine called "Deejay Hr" on runescape, were discussing websites which bumped into me wanting one. I made a rough design draft which i showed to him. My dad bought the domain name for me, but we never got very far in making the website before it was forgotten.

Half a year later, I started taking an Information Technology class at school. IT is just a fancy way of saying computer class. Here we learned different stuff in programming html, stuff in the program dreamweaver which is a website building program, we went through some stuff in photoshop and a little in flash aswell. After all that, an assignment poped up where we were supposed to make a fully functioning site in about 3 weeks. Those 3 weeks came and left, with me getting 2 weeks since I had the flu (nobody knows if it was swine flu or normal flu) for a bit of the first week. When we were told to make a site, I knew from the beginning I wanted to continue where I had left of a year ago. A lot of changes have been made from the first draft untill the first released template, but I am happy with the results. Its my first ever home-made website after all.

My time in Runescape
I started playing Runescape around May of 2005. I remember this mainly because I missed the Holiday Item "Rubber Chicken" which is not possible to obtain anymore. A friend of mine who goes under he name of "Spoki0", had been shown the game by someone he knew and he ended up showing it to me. 2 of my other friends also joined in after I did. One called "Car Man 13" and the other called "Rickeyz". Spoki0 toured us around Lumbridge, Lumbridge Swamp and onward to the Jail close to Draynor where both me and Car Man 13 died. Spoki0 managed to get my items though, Car Man wasnt as lucky. :P

You can kinda say this is where we started to drift away somewhat. I was focused on skilling and was a scaredycat back then. I never left anywhere with more then 3 items equiped. (This had to do with the Jail inncident and me afraid of loosing items). Spoki0 was the metalist of the group and also the highest level. Car Man 13 pushed me into doing the hardest Free to Play quest back then, called "The Dragon Slayer". >Here< is a picture of me killing Elvarg, the boss of that quest.

Halloween came around in 2005 and I experienced my first Holiday Event. These events are updates to the game where you can get a special item which only is available for a set amount of time. The 2005 Halloween Item was a Zombie Head and an emote called "Scared". You could do 3 things with the zombie head. Speak to it, which opened different options for dialogue between you and the head. You could dramatise with it, which was basically an emote where you would go down on your knee and say the word "Alas". It would look like what shakespear did with the skeleton head. You could also display the head which made you hold the head infront of you facing away from you, then shout "Mwuahahahaha". All in all, I thought it was very cool and is an experience I wont soon forget.

Time passed and I became a member sometime in 2006. (Becoming a member means I started paying to play the expansion of the game, for those who didnt know that.) Our "group" back then had started to show our different personalities. I was the lowest level combat wise, Spoki0 had some levels fairly high and some fairly low, Car Man 13 and Rickeyz were the two with the highest combat levels, but fairly low in most other skills. I joined the Tip.It Forum and started going to their community events by a team called TET. TET stands for Tip.It Events Team, so it all makes sence. Here I met loads of awesome people who I still am in contact with today. Spoki0 never joined any community or clan as far as I can remember. Car Man 13 and Rickeyz were both combat junkies, so naturaly they joined Player Killing clans. I made my first ever video in 2006 aswell. Back then I used google video's to upload my little video's. I made video's of the Holiday Events, random events and a player killing video starring Car Man 13. We made this after I had uploaded the video "Runescape Mage Arena / me vs sea troll queen". This video was about me completing the Mage Arena Challenge in the wilderness and me completing the quest "Swan Song". Car Man 13 and myself got pm's about how awesome the video was which led to Car Man making video's of Player Killing with his clan. In May of 2007, I created my account on YouTube. My old video's have yet to be released on YouTube, but can be found on Google Videos to this date.

On YouTube, I started off my video making career by making video's of TET Events. These took place twice every weekend at different times. A friend of mine known as "Fresi1" on Runescape inspired me to make video's of events. Back then, he was known as the movie maker, but sometimes I feel like I stole that title from him by starting to make event video's.
